Karen Quick joined the Clark Firm PLLC in 2017 and is the Chief Financial Officer for the firm providing guidance in accounting and financial management and strategic business leadership. She possesses an extensive blend of managerial and financial expertise with a specialization in operations, fiscal leadership, staff management and enhancement of productivity and bottom-line performance. As a member of the Clark Firm PLLC‘s legal team, Karen uses her skills and knowledge to guide clients in business valuations, financial advisement, forensic accounting matters, business formation, and real estate transactions.
Karen graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and then obtained her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining theClark Firm PLLC, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Principal of Good, Fulton & Farrell Architects for 35 years where she served on the Board of Directors, the Investment Committee and as Trustee for the 401(k) plan. During that time, she led the firm to be recognized by Architect Magazine as #1 nationwide for the business side of the practice as well as earned recognition by Zweig White for surpassing industry financial benchmarks on all levels. Concurrently, Karen has been an adjunct professor of accounting and finance and a certified advanced facilitator at the University of Phoenix for 14 years.
Professional affiliations have included DFW CFO Peer Group, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network being twice nominated for Outstanding Achievement Award and once nominated for the Future Vision Award, followed by nomination for CFO of the Year by the Dallas Business Journal.
She is an active member of and volunteers her services at Munger Place Church and Highland Park United Methodist Church where she has served on the finance committee, the fellowship committee, the architectural selection committee, the annual Christmas store committee in addition to teaching sunday school and many other tasks dedicated to helping the church. Karen is a native of Dallas and in her spare time she enjoys mentoring young entrepreneurs looking to start their own companies, providing financial management consulting services to professional service firms, gardening and landscaping, and can often be found in the Tom Landry Fitness Center. She and her husband have two daughters and one grandson that are the loves of their lives!
